Today is day 7 of keeping our New Year’s resolution. My husband and I are trying to exercise twice a day (except Sundays) and for each session we are adding a puzzle piece to our puzzle. As a teacher, I see all kinds of implications for a puzzle in the classroom.
Here are some ideas of goals you can set with the class (or individuals) to earn puzzle pieces:
- Transitions done well (going to carpet or desk correctly, walking correctly in the hallway, etc.)
- Think about a part of your school day that students are having a hard time doing correctly – set a goal for improvement
- Academics that shows improvement or mastery
- Compliments given by teachers and staff outside the classroom.
